Last Sunday, minister of Justice and Social Affairs, Mr. Rocco Tjon was present during the “Debate and Speaking Championship” organized by the Youth Parliament, which had as theme “inclusion for every child.”
The event was in the context of World Children’s Day on the 20th of November.
Tjon said that as Justice Minister he was glad to see that they chose to celebrate this day with a debate. “In the rule of law, debate is important to bring a balance between ideas and ideologies. A debate contributes to the personal development of each young participant, it helps form future leaders and also contributes to a better community”, according to a press release.
