The National Vaccination Campaign against Covid19 has not ended. So far, a total of 56,009 individuals have received at least one vaccine representing 56% of the target. While the effectiveness of the vaccines is evident given the decline in the number of new cases, it is still very important for those who have not yet received the vaccine to get vaccinated anyway. Covid has not disappeared and is still circulating and is still a threat to those who have not yet been vaccinated as they can become infected and become ill.

The Department of Public Health (DVG) urges anyone who has not yet been vaccinated to do so as soon as possible at either the Centro Libertador Betico Croes in Santa Cruz from Monday to Saturday from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm or at the Teresita Center in San Nicolas, Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 11.30am and from 1.30pm to 4.30pm for their vaccine. No appointment is required for the first vaccine and individuals can walk in and receive their vaccine at one of two locations. The second vaccine should be administered 3 weeks after receiving the first vaccine and can simply be walked in at one of the locations. The vaccination campaign will normally take place on May 13 and 14 during the aforementioned opening times.
