Celebrating love, friendship and inclusion within PRIDE month was the intention of The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba to organize a small gathering yesterday night. “We from the Ritz-Carlton would like to express the openness towards diversity by showing love and care for all”, Julika Thijsen, Sr. Marketing Coordinator, explains.
The month of June was chosen for LGBT Pride Month to commemorate the Stonewall riots, which occurred at the end of June 1969. As a result, many pride events are held during this month to recognize the impact LGBT people have had in the world. The special evening at The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba was dedicated to unite and embrace the diversity of humans. Feel as you are and just be you is the message. The RCMemories created another great moment of connection and celebrated this with great wines and delicious hors d’oeuvres. q
