On Monday March 8, 2021 the Ladies at the Ritz-Carlton, Aruba took a break from their busy schedules and got together to celebrate and commemorate themselves and all women. On this special day, 40 Ladies sat in the Ritz-Carlton ballroom with a beautiful project in sight to complete.
This year, the theme for International Women’s Day was “Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world” which celebrates the tremendous efforts by women and girls around the world in shaping a more equal future and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. With this theme in mind, the 40 Ladies painted a special pot and planted a beautiful plant, which was later donated to front line ladies as a form of appreciation for their hard work and dedication throughout these difficult times. These were personally delivered to the following organizations: Laboratorio MEDLAB Aruba (Noord), Urgent Care Aruba (UCA), Warda di Polis Shaba, Dr. Horacio Oduber Hospital, Centro Medico Dr. Rudy Engelbrecht (IMSAN) and Warda di Polis San Nicolas. Supporting both brand programs Take Care and Community Footprints, this was a wonderful gesture filled with creativity, passion and dedication from one lady to another lady.
