The Aruba Tourism Authority recently had the great pleasure of recognizing an Emerald Ambassador of Aruba. This lovely gentleman was respectively honored with a certificate acknowledging his years of visits, loyalty, and love for the island of Aruba.
The honor certification is presented on behalf of the Minister of Tourism as a token of appreciation and to say “Masha Danki” to guests who have visited Aruba 10, 20, or 35 years or more consecutively.
The three honoring levels are as follows:
Distinguished Visitor (10>years consecutively visiting Aruba)
Goodwill Ambassador (20>years consecutively visiting Aruba)
Emerald Ambassador (35>years consecutively visiting Aruba)
The honoree was:
Emerald Ambassador
Mr. James McLennan from New York, United States.
For more than six decades, Mr. McLennan has made Aruba his recurring destination, marking over 63 years of cherished visits to the island. His enduring loyalty and profound affection for Aruba are nothing short of remarkable, illuminating the depth of his attachment to this beautiful island.
Ms. Marouska Heyliger representing the Aruba Tourism Authority, and staff members of the Divi Dutch Village bestowed the certificate to the honoree, presented him with memorable gifts, and also thanked him for choosing Aruba as his best-loved vacation destination, as his home away from home.
Top reasons for returning to Aruba provided by Mr. McLennan were:
