As part of ‘Turning the Tide’, an EU RESEMBID-funded coral and mangrove restoration project for Aruba, the Aruba Conservation Foundation (ACF) is looking for volunteers to assist with restoring mangrove channels, specifically improving water flow in the open saliรฑas of Spaans Lagoen.
Initial restoration began last year with the creation of silt traps at Rooi Lamoenchi, Rooi Taki, and Rooi Bringamosa. The project now continues to progress with the reopening of mangrove channels.

A pre-briefing event will be organized to present the activity plan and timeline, the exact location, and detailed information on the working conditions, and additional guidance on what to wear and bring. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions. The pre-briefing date will be communicated in the confirmation email after registration.
