Minister Dangui Oduber announced that the renovation of the Palm Beach Tower, located right in front of the Riu Antillas Hotel, will begin on July 13. This project will last until July 25, 2024, with the renovation being carried out by local artist Paul Wong. Like other projects currently ongoing around our island, this is also a project that is part of the beautification and improvement of Aruba’s offerings.

The tower was repaired back in 2018 through a collaboration with Riu Hotel, which contributed half of the necessary funds at that time. Unfortunately, the repairs made back then did not last long. Due to bad weather and natural actions, the tower is once again in poor condition and needs to be repaired. For this reason, the Ministry of Tourism, together with the Aruba Tourism Authority, sought the necessary funds to repair the tower and platform. This time, materials that will last a long time will be used.

Access to the Palm Beach Tower will be restricted during this short period. However, once completed, it will become another attraction for our locals and tourists. Surely another small but impactful beautiful project.

Tourism remains the driver of our economy, and therefore it is extremely important for us to keep investing in Aruba’s offerings. Minister Oduber continues to ensure the repair and beautification of various areas on our island.
