The Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds Caribisch Gebied (PBCCG) is working on a Cultural Calender. As of today, the calendar will be online via de website pbccaribbean.com/cultuuragenda/.
The foundation bundles all cultural & art events throughout the six islands in this calendar.
And aims to supply an extra platform and channel for more exposure on exhibitions, shows, concerts, workshops, nature experience, book presentations and other events happening at the level of art and culture. It’s all about experiencing art and culture throughout the six islands in the broadest sense of the word. Not only organizations that have turned to PBCCG for support will be on the agenda. More and more activities will be added to the calendar as we go. Also some digital, as our islands artists have been forced to look into such options due to Covid-19.
The Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds was founded by Prince Bernhard of The Netherlands in London in 1940 during World War II in order to buy war material for the British and Dutch Governments. It continued after the war as Stichting Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds aiming to rebuild cultural life in the Netherlands and the six islands within the Dutch kingdom.
