Felicita Cuesta retired earlier this year after dedicating 22 years working within Playa Linda’s stellar Housekeeping Department. Fellow housekeepers responded by hosting a memorable send-off, throwing a retirement party marked by shared stories and their trademark high spirits.
Marlyn Tromp similarly received a festive retirement party after completing an impressive 36 years at the Playa Linda in its Accounting Department. Marylyn’s career grew with the Playa Linda, and she met the growing demands of the department with aplomb as the popular timeshare flourished and grew in size and membership. Throughout the years, she helped juggle the tracking of financials through numerous new projects, refurbishments and upgrades.
And just recently, Playa Linda provided a warm celebration to mark the retirement of Ciro Pimentel, who retired after 33 years. His tenure in the IT Department was marked by tremendous change over the years, with the implementation of new programs, cybersecurity efforts and technological updates, to which he applied his ready knowledge to new challenges.
The talents that Felicita, Marlyn and Ciro brought to the table and the knowledge and friendships they shared with fellow colleagues has proven invaluable. Close-knit Playa Linda family ties among all employees resulted in fond farewells and best wishes for tranquil, well-deserved retirements.
