National Park Arikok is organizing another one of their successful open-air movie nights this Saturday. This free movie night will show two episodes of the documentary series ‘Our Planet’. The goal of the Foundation National Park Aruba is to create more awareness about our environment and give inspiration how to preserve it. The movie night starts at 7.30 PM at the visitor’s center of the park.

Because of the pressure of the climate change and the loss of biodiversity our environment is globally under attack. The foundation finds it important to educate and inform the community how all can help conserve nature for now and for our future generations. The documentaries will show how to preserve the environment and you can see different animals all over the world in their natural habitat. The first episode concerns the big animals like the tiger and elephant and the fact that their natural habitat is being threatened by agricultural interests. The second movie highlights the importance of marine life, more specifically the shark, whale and sea turtle.

This is a wonderful night to enjoy with the family and learn something at the same time. There is also the opportunity to buy drinks and snacks. For more information please call: 00 297 585 1234 or visit the Facebook page: arikoknationalpark. q
