In January 2023, Aruba’s tourism figures surpassed January 2019, a record year for tourism. In January 2023, Aruba registered a recovery of 105% compared to 2019.
Aruba’s most important market was the US market, with a recovery of 113% in January 2023 compared to January 2019, with 98.942 tourists compared to 93.953 in January 2019. It entails an increase of 4989 tourists. Aruba continues to be a popular destination. Therefore it is essential to invest in the Aruban product to stay competitive.
Aruba ranks as the second country with the fastest tourism recovery. It shows Aruba’s resilience, tourism policy, and excellent cooperation in the tourism sector with Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA), Aruba Ports Authority (APA), Aruba Airport Authority (AAA), Aruba Hotel and Tourism Association (AHATA) and Aruba Time Share Association (ATSA) to make it possible.
