Recently, Aruba Tourism Authority had the great pleasure in honoring many loyal Aruba visitors with their distinctive certificates. These certificates are a way to say “Masha Danki” for continuously choosing Aruba as a favorite vacation destination. The titles are as following: 10+ years “Distinguished Visitor”, 20+ years “Goodwill Ambassador” and 36+ years “Emerald Ambassador”.
The honorees were Michael V. & Maryanne Toto, residents of New Jersey, United States as well as Michael J. and Gina Toto, residents of New Jersey, United States who have been honored as Goodwill Ambassadors of Aruba.
This symbolic honorary title is presented on behalf of the Minister of Tourism as a token of appreciation to the guests who visit Aruba between the 10-20-35 and more consecutive year mark.
The top reasons for returning that were provided by the honorees were that Aruba is their home away from home, the wonderful people of Aruba, the amazing culture, hospitality and food, beautiful natural scenery and seeing old friends year after year.
Ms. Marouska Heyliger representing the Aruba Tourism Authority and members of Marriott Aruba Ocean Club bestowed the certificate of the Ambassadors and handed some presents to the honoree and thanked them for choosing Aruba as their vacation destination and as their home away from home for so many years on behalf of the Government of Aruba.
