PALM BEACH — Recently, Marouska Heyliger of the Aruba Tourism Authority had the great pleasure to honor several of Aruba’s loyal and friendly visitors as Distinguished Visitors and Goodwill Ambassadors.
The Distinguished visitor certificate is presented on behalf of the Minister of Tourism, as a token of appreciation to the guests who visit Aruba 10 years and more consecutively. The Goodwill Ambassador certificate is presented to guests who visit Aruba 20 years and more consecutively.
The honorees are Diane and Mark Elkins from Florida, who have been honored as Goodwill Ambassadors together with their family.
Also honored as Distinguished Visitors were Jonathan Ratchik, Hollie Elkins, William Ratchik and Sophia Ratchick from New York.
The honorees stated that they love coming to the island especially for the lovely people, the beautiful weather and white sandy beaches.
Heyliger together with Jenny Boekhoudt of the Aruba Marriott Surf Club presented the certificates to the honorees, and also handed over some presents and thanked them for choosing Aruba as their favorite vacation destination and as their home away from home.q
