On their Facebook Page, the community center for the district of Noord introduced the eight beautiful candidates who will compete on Friday, 27 January for the next crown of Princesita Noord 2023 – Carnival’s Little Princess.
The election is going to take place at the Centro di Bario Noord at 7pm. Doors will open at 6:30pm to allow all supporters to come cheer for their favorite candidates. Carnival elections are a beautiful show of costume, pageantry, music and colors, and are one of the key aspects of Aruba’s Carnival since its inception.
The candidates for Princesita Noord are:
Xeena Dijkhoff;
Saraí Ruiz Gonzalez;
Gilliany Gomez;
Sophie-Marie Solognier;
Sophia Colina;
Dianee Lampe;
C-Lainy Rosa;
Elvixienne Ridderstap.
All candidates are between 5 to 7 years old. Amelia Kamperveen, who is the current Children’s Queen Noord 2023, was the Princesita Noord in 2020 and on the 27th of January will be handing the crown to her successor.
