Recently, Kimberley Richardson of the Aruba Tourism Authority had the great pleasure to honor Aruba’s loyal and friendly visitors as Goodwill Ambassadors of Aruba. The symbolic Goodwill Ambassador certificate is presented on behalf of the Minister of Tourism, as a token of appreciation to the guests who visit Aruba 20 years and more consecutively.
This time Richardson had the opportunity to meet and honor Mr. Jan & Mrs. Hermy Van der Velde at their wonderful apartment in the Noord district of Aruba. Mr. and Mrs. Velde are from the Netherlands traveling far away from home!
This lovely couple stated that they love the island very much, especially for its year-round sunny weather, nice sandy beaches and picturesque sunsets, its hospitality and Aruba’s warm and friendly people that became like family to them!
Richardson presented the certificate to the honorees, handed over some presents and also thanked them for choosing Aruba as their favorite vacation destination and as their home-away-from-home.
