ORANJESTAD — On May 24, 2019, We Connect Aruba and the University of Aruba are organizing a seminar with the aim of exploring the challenges of connecting young educated and talented people living abroad to the career opportunities that exist on the islands in particular the Aruban labor market. We want to achieve a better understanding of the mutual and differing goals and ambitions of the young talents and the organizations and companies that want to hire them.
We will have several subject matter experts that will explain their perspectives or experiences on the topics at hand, followed by discussion and Q&A sessions, with the invited experts participating as opinion leaders and experts, employers and representatives of youth platforms contributing to this discussion. At the end of the seminar we hope to be able to come up with a few points of understanding and departure.
