EAGLE BEACH ̶ Recently, Aruba Tourism Authority representative Ms. Olga Ruiz had the great pleasure in honoring many loyal Aruba visitors with their distinctive certificates. These certificates are a way to say “Masha Danki” for continuously choosing Aruba as a favorite vacation destination. The titles are as following: 10+ years “Distinguished Visitor”, 20+ years “Goodwill Ambassador” and 36+ years “Emerald Ambassador”.
The honorees are George & Ann Dombroski residents of Connecticut, United States who have been honored as the first ever Emerald Ambassadors of Aruba.
This symbolic honorary title is presented on behalf of the Minister of Tourism as a token of appreciation to the guests who visit Aruba between the 10-20-35 and more consecutive year mark.
Our first Emerald Ambassadors love coming to the island for the friendliness of the people that makes the visitors feel safe, the cleanliness of the island, the variety of restaurants and foo, the beautiful beaches and the consistency of beautiful weather.
Ms. Olga Ruiz representing the Aruba Tourism Authority, and Mrs. Verna Dijkhof representing the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino bestowed the certification of the first ever Emerald Ambassadors at the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino. The honorees were presented with memorable gifts, what made the gifting section so special was that Mr. Dombroski is a coin collector, and one of the symbolic gifts that an Emerald ambassador acquires is the commemorative Emerald Coin that represents 35 years of continued visits.
