The three levels of honor are as follows:

Distinguished Visitor (10>years consecutively visiting Aruba)

Emerald Ambassador (35>years consecutively visiting Aruba)

The honoree was:

Goodwill Ambassador
Ms. Cheryl Adams from Pikesville Maryland, United States.

Mr. Jorgino Willems representing the Aruba Tourism Authority, and staff members of Marriott Aruba Surf Club bestowed the certificate upon the honoree, presented her with gifts, and thanked her for choosing Aruba as her favorite vacation destination, as her home away from home.

Reason for returning to Aruba provided by the honoree was:

“I love Aruba for its prestigious weather, safety, the kindness of its people, and the memorable relationships I’ve formed over the past 22 years during my 27 visits to the island. I have my Aruban family, whom I speak with weekly, and I share my magical experiences with my US family and friends. As a result, five families have visited here this year because of my love for Aruba, which truly feels like paradise on earth.”

On behalf of the Aruba Tourism Authority, we would like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to the honorees for their continued visits to the “One Happy Island”.
