“My name is Tony Racioppo and I’m from Manhasset, NY! Aruba to me is a second home. We came to Aruba for the first time in 1975 when there were only three major hotels! I remember driving past the Holiday Inn and the paved road ended and I thought where am I? All of a sudden we saw chickens, goats and even a few donkeys! Oh my!
We returned in 1981 and have been coming ever since. This is our 40th year in row! Over the years we have met, and become friends with many local residents. In my opinion, the Aruban people, are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met! There is nothing phony about them! What you see, the caring and thoughtfulness, is what you get. They have always made us feel so welcomed. We hope and pray that this wonderful island continues to prosper!”
