For today we received an amazing story from an amazing family: The Furlong Family
Who came to celebrate a special anniversary and also brought with them 50 books for school children of Aruba. They wrote:
“We are a big Irish Family and we came to celebrate our 40th Anniversary! Several of us have been to Aruba but for many it was their first time. 50 of us made the trip. We are from Holland Patent ,New York , Poland, New York, Raleigh, North Carolina, Fort Myers , Florida and New York City, New York. Our ages ranges from 1 up to 78. We love to have family getogethers and we are all very proud to be continuing on the legacy that ‘family is the most important thing of all’.
In honor of our patriarch who has passed away Tom “Grandpa Buddy “ Furlong and our wonderful brother-in-law that we lost Wayne “Big Wheel “ Haver, we have kept our family together and now a whole new generation of Furlongs are continuing the spirit of family. We are very happy and proud to donate 50 books to the children in Aruba.”.
