They wrote to us saying: “Aruba to me is a place in the sun
Where we can relax and have some fun.
We can play some golf on its beautiful courses,
Or ride hills or beaches upon some horses.
The dining experiences simply can’t be beat.
So many places to try, so many dishes to eat.
I wonder how every place is so delicious.
Are they stealing the world’s top chefs – I am suspicious!
The Aruban people are as warm as can be.
They treat us like friends, even as royalty!
Genuine and honest, I feel safe in their care.
These beautiful people, their home they share.
We’ve enjoyed Aruba for over 30 years.
It makes us so happy it brings us to tears.
The weather is perfect – not too hot or too cold.
So much to do, whether young or old.
I am always so grateful we’re able to return,
Their history and culture so amazing to learn.
Aruba, we love you for all that you are,
That jewel of the ocean, that bright shining star!”
