For over 30 years, Condé Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards’ produces reliable lists for the consumers, in which they mention the best hotels, resorts, cities, islands, airlines and cruise lines as a vacation destination. They ask their visitors to share their opinions based on their experience with their friends and family members.
Aruba Tourism Authority (A.T.A.) is happy to announce that our island has been nominated in several categories for the Condé Nast Traveler 2020. Aruba won the Readers’ Choice Award in two categories, which are based on tourism. The categories are: ‘The Best Islands in the World’ in which Aruba came up at number 4 out of the top 5 of the Caribbean & Atlantic.
Condé Nast Traveler mentioned that Aruba is in the top 5 due to its beaches in the Caribbean Region and also due to the fact that Aruba has non-stop or one-stop flights from different cities in the US. They also praise the great variety of accommodation our island has to offer.
Other islands on the top 5 list are:
1: St. Barts
2: St. Vincent and the Grenadines
3: Anguilla
5: Puerto Rico
Aruba is also mentioned in the top 40 resorts for the Caribbean islands in which Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort are at number 17 and Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino at number 35.
The results of Condé Nast Traveler were published this week in their online edition of October 2020.
