The Aruba Hotel & Tourism Association has published the latest hotel performance data reporting that in July 2022 Aruba hotels continued to recover strongly and experienced an 82% average occupancy rate. However, the average of the first 7 months still stayed below 2019 levels.
July 2022:
Occupancy: The occupancy rate was 82%, which is a recovery of 93% compared to 2019 occupancy rate.
ADR: In comparison to 2019, the average daily rate (for occupied rooms) increased by 20% to $297.16.
RevPAR: The revenue per available room was $244.24, which is a 11% increase over 2019.
YEAR-TO-DATE 2022:
Occupancy: The average occupancy for the first seven months of 2022 was 73%, which is 16% less than in 2019.
ADR: The average daily rate (for occupied rooms) increased by 7% to $313.45.
RevPAR: The revenue per available room was $227.96, a 10% decrease from 2019.
Timeshare:
AHATA’s Timeshare properties experienced a 87% occupancy rate in July.
