ORANJESTAD – As of August 17, 2020, payment of fees to Aruba Airport Authority N.V. (AAA) will only be possible by means of debit cards, credit cards and bank transfers. This will include the payment of parking fees as of that date at the public parking Pay stations located within the meet/greet area in the arrival terminal. Payment of public parking, towing fees and lost ticket fees can only be paid with a debit card or a credit card from Visa, Mastercard or Discover. It should be noted that taxi fees, parking pass holder fees and any other airport fees can also be paid by means of a bank transfer or direct deposit at the bank.
The efforts in going completely cashless in relation to Pay stations operated by AAA have been equipped with debit/credit card machines and will no longer accept cash money or coins. When coming to the airport it should be noted that payment can only be done with a debit card or credit card. The parking lever (âboomâ) of the public parking areas will thus be once again closed as of August 17, 2020 and will not be manually opened for airport visitors who do not have a debit or credit card on hand to settle the applicable parking fees. The same would apply in case a vehicle is towed and the towing fee needs to be settled. So, when visiting the airport to pick up your relatives and/or guests please take due note hereof and make sure you have your debit or credit card on you as of August 17, 2020.
