From August 1st to 8th, 297 Baseball Academy will be hosting an elite team of baseball players from the United States. Team Super Nova and Team Select are traveling from Westbrook, Maine with 28 players and over 70 family members to visit Aruba and play local talent.
According to Coach Greg Post, “the players are excited to visit Aruba and play competitive baseball”. Brodie Carey, owner of 297 Baseball Academy, stated “this is a great opportunity for players from the United States to play and train with local players.” Nick Rikker, a 16-year-old student and team captain stated, “We could be playing some really good guys out there, but I welcome the competition and like competitive baseball.” The games are open to the public.
