The Aruba Hotel & Tourism Association has published the latest hotel performance data reporting that in June 2022 Aruba hotels recovered strongly and experienced a 81% average occupancy rate. The average of first 6 months still stayed below 2019 levels.
June 2022:
Occupancy: The occupancy rate was 81%, which is a recovery of 97% compared to 2019 occupancy rate.
ADR: In comparison to 2019, the average daily rate (for occupied rooms) increased by 22% to $277.52.
RevPAR: The revenue per available room was $223.97, which is a 19% increase over 2019.
Year-to-date 2022:
Occupancy: The average occupancy for the first six months of 2022 was 71%, which is 17% less than in 2019.
ADR: The average daily rate (for occupied rooms) increased by 5% to $316.68.
RevPAR: The revenue per available room was $225.16, a 13% decrease from 2019.
Timeshare:
AHATA’s Timeshare properties experienced a 85% occupancy rate in June, and project an average occupancy of 86% in July 2022.
