March 20th is International ‘Happiness Day’ and to celebrate this day Aruba Tourism Authority inroduced a new campaign specifically for the market of Latin america named ‘Extended Happiness’.
The promotion of this campaign started on March 8, 2021 and will continue up till the end of the month. The programme has different benefits for couples, group of Friends or family members.
ATA partnered up with different associates such as AHATA, airilines, tour operators in order to make this campaign posible. Discounts will be offered at different hotels, Airlines and much more. All these offers are available on www.aruba.com
The Latin America market has been surprised with these great offers from 30 different hotels, special discounts at restaurants, activities and airline tickets from this region. Expectations are high for this campaign and there are already 5.00 persons who registered to receive theses specials.
Latin America is a very important market for Aruba. In 2019 this continent was at 9.5% of the total visitors of Aruba. Due to the global pandemic and closing of our borders we only had 4.8% of visitors of this continient in 2020. Now for the first two months of 2021 Latin America is already at 4.8% of the total visitors.
On March 20th, ‘Happiness Day’ ATA will launch a video produced in Aruba. For this video they choose different Latin America visitors, couples and groups, at different hotels who received a very special surprise. They were surprised with an extended stay in Aruba and also several other gifts.
One of the winners of the extended stay invited his girlfriend to a surprise trip and at the airport in Colombia she learned that they will be coming to Aruba. Upon their arrival here in Aruba they were surprised once again when told that they are one of the lucky winners of the campaign and their stay will be extended with 2 more days. The gentleman had another surprise for his gilfriend and on the night of the extended stay he popped the question to his girlfried asking her to marry. Offcourse she said Yes!
